Delete an A* component

Purpose

Section titled “Purpose”

a-component-delete deletes an A* component from the local and remote for admin purposes.

It is intended only use by system admins who must have a secure login on the server.

Usage

Section titled “Usage”

It really archives components from the local and remote server. In particular:

  1. Restricted to a particular user (-only_user).
  2. The local component fossil and working directory are moved to DELETED.
  3. The remote fossil is moved outside the chrooted web server to /home/a-star-deleted (-remote_deleted).

The actual deletion needs of the backups can be done by hand.
